Android Background Tracking Settings Guide

To ensure reliable background tracking on your Android device, please find your device brand below and follow the specific configuration steps.

⚠️ Important for ALL Devices (Android 11+)

Crucial Step: You must prevent the system from automatically removing permissions.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > EMP-Business.
  2. Look for a setting named "Remove permissions if app is unused" or "Pause app activity if unused".
  3. Turn this toggle OFF.

1. Samsung

  • Go to Settings > Apps.
  • Find EMP-Business and tap it.
  • Tap Battery.
  • Select "Unrestricted".
  • Also ensure "Allow background activity" is enabled if visible.

2. Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps.
  • Find EMP-Business.
  • Tap Autostart and turn it ON.
  • Go back, tap Battery Saver.
  • Select "No restrictions".

3. Oppo / Realme

  • Go to Settings > App Management.
  • Find EMP-Business.
  • Tap Battery usage.
  • Enable BOTH "Allow foreground activity" AND "Allow background activity".
  • Go to Settings > Auto launch and turn it ON for EMP-Business.

4. Vivo / iQOO

  • Go to Settings > Battery.
  • Tap Background power consumption management.
  • Find EMP-Business.
  • Select "High background power usage".
  • Go to Settings > Permissions > Autostart and turn it ON.

5. OnePlus

  • Go to Settings > Battery > Advanced settings.
  • Tap Optimize battery use.
  • Find EMP-Business and select "Don't optimize".
  • Go to Settings > Apps > EMP-Business > Battery.
  • Ensure "Allow background activity" is ON.

6. Huawei / Honor

  • Go to Settings > Battery > App Launch.
  • Find EMP-Business.
  • Turn OFF "Manage automatically".
  • In the popup, turn ON all three toggles: Auto-launch, Secondary launch, Run in background.

7. Infinix / Tecno

  • Open Phone Master app.
  • Go to App Management > Auto-start management.
  • Enable EMP-Business.
  • Go to Settings > App Management > EMP-Business > Battery.
  • Select Unrestricted.

General Android (Pixel / Motorola / Other)

  • Go to Settings > Apps > EMP-Business.
  • Tap Battery.
  • Select "Unrestricted" (or "Don't optimize").
